Chapter 44

Helena’s jaw dropped in shock, her mouth hanging open as she tried to process Olivia’s words.

The highest sales record for Rococo phones in the domestic market had barely touched 20,000 units. To hear that Drake Group, with its vast resources, could help move such volumes was enough to leave her speechless. Only a global powerhouse like Drake Group could have the distribution channels to support such numbers.

Olivia turned toward the short-haired woman and spoke calmly, “Alice, bring the contract over.”

Alice immediately handed a contract to Olivia, her bodyguard swiftly pulling it from her handbag. The room was filled with an air of excitement, the anticipation palpable as every eye locked onto the document in Olivia’s hand.

Olivia handed the contract over to Helena with a smile. “This is the cooperation agreement between us and your company. The initial order is 300 million, and once the contract is signed, we’ll prepay 50% within three working days.”

Three hundred million!

And that was just the initial order.

Herman could not help but take a deep breath, his chest tightening. Even Hubert swallowed hard, his heart racing like a storm at sea.

Rooney, her usual demeanor filled with smug satisfaction, danced around in joy.

Kai had already offered a dowry of 30 million and promised to invest 1.5 billion into the Lewises after the wedding, but those were investments. The Watsons would also take a cut of the regular profits, meaning the principal wasn’t even theirs to keep.

This, however, was real money.

A 300 million order meant that Drake Group was going to purchase smartphones worth 300 million from Rococo. Given the wholesale price of Rococo phones—around 150 dollars per unit—this initial order would buy approximately two million phones.

At the cost price of Rococo’s low-end models, which was around 100 dollars per phone, that meant a profit of 50 dollars per unit, totaling around 100 million dollars from just two million phones.

A sum of money they would not have been able to dream of earning in ten years. And it was only the first order.

With Drake Group’s distribution network, 200,000 units could be sold per day, meaning those two million phones could be sold in just ten days. This would ensure continuous orders for Rococo in the future, with each subsequent order likely to bring in another 100 million in profit.

This was the support that would propel the Lewises to new heights.

Seeing Helena still in a daze, Herman quickly nudged her. “Silly child, hurry up and take the contract.”

Snapping out of her stupor, Helena’s trembling hands reached for the contract, her fingers brushing against the paper.

But just as her hands closed around the contract, Hera’s face turned ashen. “Dad, Mom, Grandpa, Ms. Olivia… I’m not feeling well. Please excuse me…”

Without another word, she turned and fled upstairs to her room.

Originally, Drake Group was supposed to cooperate with Baroque. This glory—the massive order, the prosperity it would bring—should have belonged to her family. Instead, it was taken by Helena. Hera knew deep down that this was her last chance to make things right. There was no turning back now.

Meanwhile, Helena finally opened the contract, and as she read, Hubert, with a smile on his face, handed her a pen. But when she scanned the document, the smile on her face quickly faded, and her hand froze in midair.

She rubbed her eyes, sure she had read something wrong. But when she looked again, the words were clear.

Helena felt as though she had been struck by lightning.

At that moment, Herman, in his delight, was toasting Olivia. Olivia chuckled softly and said, “Mr. Lewis, your granddaughter has found herself a good husband.”

Herman was momentarily stunned but then laughed warmly. “It’s my granddaughter’s blessing.”

After all, Kai was the eldest son of Jonford’s most prestigious family. No one would dare question his worth.
