Chapter_110

Tyler was driving Olivia to school when his phone rang. His expression immediately darkened as he answered the call. After a brief conversation, he gave a firm order to the driver, “Go to the hospital.”

Olivia, sensing the change in atmosphere, turned to him with concern. “Aren’t you taking me to university? Is something wrong with Naomi?”

Tyler hung up the phone, his face tense with worry. “We need to go to the hospital. Ann is with her.”

Olivia’s heart skipped a beat. “Why is Aunt Ana there?”

Tyler didn’t respond, his eyes fixed ahead. He turned to the driver and said urgently, “Step on it.”

The car sped toward the hospital, and Olivia’s mind raced with questions. She couldn’t shake the feeling that something serious was happening.

Upon arriving at the hospital, they quickly made their way to Naomi’s room. The atmosphere inside was quiet, and Ana sat quietly by Naomi’s bedside. Naomi looked frail, her hospital stay clearly taking a toll on her.

Tyler walked over to her, his tone soft but serious. “You’re finally here, Tyler,” Naomi greeted him, her voice faint but full of warmth.

Olivia stood by the door, watching the scene unfold, when she noticed Ana’s presence. Her confusion grew, but Tyler, sensing her unease, motioned to his mom. “Let’s talk outside,” he said curtly.

Ana gave a small, almost amused smile. “Looks like you have some spies around. I barely arrived, and yet, here you are, rushing over.”

Tyler’s face remained impassive, his gaze icy as he stepped outside, not willing to engage in any further conversation within the room. Ana followed him without hesitation.

Olivia, still standing at the doorway, caught Naomi’s eye, but before she could say anything, Tyler closed the door behind him, cutting off her view.

Outside, in the quiet corridor, Ana smiled at Tyler. “I’m glad you’re here. I have something to share that I think will make everyone happy.” Her voice lowered, as if this was something of great importance. “You can’t keep taking care of her all the time now that she’s so ill, right? I know she wants Olivia to help her. She’s willing to let Olivia have a child with you, and I think it’s a good idea.”

Ana’s grin widened. “She understands me better than you, Tyler. You really care for Olivia, don’t you?”

Olivia, who had been standing nearby, froze at the mention of her name. Her face drained of color as Ana’s words hit her like a heavy blow.

Ana continued, her voice taking on a more serious tone. “You love Olivia. I’ve come to discuss your marriage to her.”

Tyler, now visibly irritated, glared at his mother. “Are you done with this nonsense?”

Ana dropped the pretense, locking eyes with him. “Are you denying your feelings for Olivia? Can you honestly say you don’t want her for yourself?” She scoffed, clearly amused by his discomfort. “Who was awake, rolling around in bed all night last night?”

Olivia’s heart raced. She rushed to defend herself. “Aunt Ana, it’s not what you think. We didn’t do what you’re implying!” Her voice trembled, trying to explain, but before she could say more, the door to the room creaked open slightly, unnoticed by everyone.
