Chapter 408

They took their seats in the front row, where Olivia, as Mrs. Harris, was treated with the utmost care. The servers were attentive, ensuring everything she needed was within reach.

Just then, Linda, who was sitting a few rows behind them, received a phone call. She approached Tyler quietly and whispered, “Ms. Naomi is here, sir.”

Olivia, sitting right beside Tyler, caught every word and immediately tensed at the mention of Naomi.

Tyler showed no visible reaction, as if he had expected Naomi’s arrival. He glanced up slightly, and Olivia followed his gaze.

Emma was pushing Naomi in her wheelchair through a side entrance, skillfully avoiding the crowd of journalists.

Naomi smiled warmly at Tyler before turning to Olivia. She mouthed a friendly greeting, her smile bright and open.

But Olivia’s expression hardened. She wasn’t happy to see Naomi—not after everything that had happened. The more you cared, the deeper the pain and resentment could run.

Tyler noticed Olivia’s coldness but chose to ignore it. Instead, he turned to Linda and said, “Go be with her. There are too many people here.”

Linda nodded. “Understood. The organizer arranged for Ms. Naomi to sit a few rows behind us. She won’t attract much attention.”

Tyler gave a brief nod in acknowledgment, and Linda left as instructed.

As Olivia continued to process Naomi’s presence, Tyler quietly explained, “She’s bored in the hospital, so she asked to come. I said yes.”
