Chapter 490

Tyler looked away from the butler without saying a word. Neither the butler nor the maid dared to speak.

He rolled up the car window, and the vehicle sped toward another hospital.

On the way, Tyler glanced at Olivia. Her skin looked almost translucent, dark circles shadowed her eyes, and she seemed as light as a feather.

How could she have lost so much weight in just a few days?

Frowning in disbelief, Tyler instructed the driver, “Step on it.”

The driver pressed the accelerator.

Camilla was shocked to hear that Olivia was at the hospital. She hurried there as fast as she could—just as Tyler was transporting Olivia to the second hospital.

At this hospital, doctors ran tests and concluded that Olivia had fainted due to severe sleep deprivation. It was like falling into a deep, exhausted sleep.

Tyler stood beside her bed, frowning as the doctor shared the results.

The room fell silent.

Just then, Camilla arrived. She caught her breath and addressed Tyler, “Mr. Tyler.”

Though the villagers were still bargaining outside, there wasn’t much they could do. Still, Camilla was surprised to see him—he wasn’t supposed to be back yet.

He must have rushed back.

She stood before him, panting, while Tyler asked, “Do you know where I found her?”

Camilla studied his expression and sensed something was wrong. She hesitated, then asked, “Where did you… find her?”

“A private hospital. In Claude’s arms.”

Camilla’s eyebrows shot up in surprise. “I’m sorry, I… didn’t know about that.”

Tyler’s face remained expressionless. “Then why did I send you back?”

Camilla wiped the sweat from her brow. “I’ve been running errands for Ms. Naomi. Since you weren’t around and Ms. Hillary was busy, no one was there to keep Ms. Naomi company, so I stayed with her.”

Tyler held back everything he wanted to say.

Camilla didn’t realize this wasn’t her fault. She was still puzzled about Claude’s sudden appearance.

Her eyes shifted to Olivia, lying fragile in the hospital bed. She was shocked by how worn out Olivia looked.

“What… what happened?”

While Tyler glared silently at her, Olivia stirred.

She had been dreaming pleasantly, but couldn’t remember the details. As she blinked her eyes open, the stark white hospital room came into focus.

It took her a moment to adjust and take in her surroundings.

Tyler approached. “You’re awake?”

Olivia turned her gaze toward the figure standing beside her—a face she hadn’t seen in some time.
