Chapter 333

Olivia remained silent. To her, it didn’t matter whether the baby was a boy or a girl. She knew the Harrises had their preferences, so when Maisy openly expressed her excitement for a boy, Olivia wasn’t sure how to respond.

Maisy smiled warmly. “Come back soon. I’ll have someone prepare the best meal for you.”

“Thank you, Grandma,” Olivia replied softly.

Unaware that more tests were still ahead, Maisy worried about the potential harm from the phone’s radiation to the baby. She gently said, “Give the phone back to the maid. Don’t let the radiation affect the baby. I’ll be right here waiting.”

Olivia simply nodded and ended the call.

Maisy couldn’t stop smiling. When Ana and Keith heard the news, they returned home with smiles of their own.

After hanging up, Maisy turned to the maid. “Tell Tyler about this. Send him the picture right away.”

Ana understood Maisy’s intentions but didn’t interfere. She only glanced at Keith.

Keith frowned and asked, “Tyler isn’t back yet?”

Ana seized the moment. “Back? We haven’t even seen him.”

There was a brief silence before Keith tightened his grip on the armrest of the couch and said firmly, “I’m going to talk to him again.”

Maisy nodded in agreement. “You really should. Olivia is your daughter-in-law, and she’s carrying your grandson. Tyler is being too distant.”

Keith sighed and finally agreed. “Okay, I’ll talk to him.”

Following Maisy’s orders, the maid quickly sent the ultrasound picture to Tyler.

Tyler was in Naomi’s room. The doctor had just finished her checkup, and Naomi was sleeping peacefully.

Suddenly, Tyler’s phone vibrated in his pocket. After a moment, he took it out and unlocked the screen to see the message.

He froze, staring at the picture of his baby, the tiny face looking so real.

Then another message came from the maid: “There was a checkup today. It’s a boy.”

Naomi woke up and saw Tyler standing by her bed, deeply absorbed in his phone. He hadn’t noticed her stir.

Curious, Naomi asked softly, “Tyler, what’s going on?”

Startled, Tyler quickly looked away. Naomi noticed his tight grip on the phone.

Something felt off to her, and she said quietly, “You were just standing there.”

The phone screen went dark as Tyler snapped back to himself and replied, “It’s just a work text.”
