Chapter 350

Olivia’s smile returned as she gently rubbed her belly, feeling the soft movements inside.

The next morning, she woke to find that Tyler had already left. As Alisa helped her get ready, she mentioned quietly, “Mr. Tyler left early today.”

“Oh,” Olivia replied simply, not surprised.

Her phone soon rang. Seeing Hillary’s name, Olivia answered, curious. “Good morning, Aunt Hillary.”

“Morning! I hope I’m not disturbing you,” Hillary’s cheerful voice came through, but background noise made it clear she was somewhere busy.

Olivia tilted her head, wondering why Hillary was calling so early. “I just woke up,” she said.

“I’m calling to invite you to Naomi and Tyler’s anniversary party. Please come!” Hillary said brightly.

After a brief pause, Olivia asked cautiously, “What anniversary is that?”

“It’s to celebrate their years together!” Hillary replied, excitement clear in her tone.

Olivia was stunned by the invitation.

“…Hello? Did you hear me?” Hillary checked.

“Uh, yes. About that,” Olivia answered quickly, “I actually sprained my foot and I’m stuck in bed for now.”

“Oh, that’s too bad. Naomi was really hoping to see you there,” Hillary said, a hint of disappointment slipping in. “By the way, did you hear about the new building Tyler donated to your school for their anniversary? It’s named ‘Naomi Valentina.’ Isn’t that lovely?”

Olivia paused before replying softly, “I see.”

Hillary’s happiness was unmistakable. “Are you sure you don’t want to come?”

“I really can’t, Aunt Hillary. Sorry.”

“I understand. I’ll see if we can find some time to visit you instead. Take care, bye!”

Olivia hung up, feeling the weight of Hillary’s words linger in the air. It was clear to her the call was less about an invitation and more about showing off—about reminding her of what Naomi and Tyler shared.

She tightened her grip on the phone, the name Naomi Valentina echoing in her mind. It symbolized strength and well-being, didn’t it?

It was a beautiful name.

Any trace of upset vanished quietly from Olivia’s face. None of this was her concern anymore. Her only focus now was on her pregnancy—and bringing her child into the world safely.

Hillary had been suspicious for some time. Naomi’s sudden decline on the day Olivia was rushed to the hospital still remained a troubling mystery. Though doctors had kept Naomi stable, something had caused her condition to worsen unexpectedly.

Had Naomi seen something that shook her to the core? What had caused such distress? Only Tyler and Olivia knew the truth.

Hillary’s mind recalled it was Tyler who had rushed Olivia to the hospital—an event that seemed to have shifted everything.
