Chapter 390
Tyler slowly squatted down, extending his arms to lift Naomi from the ground.
Ana’s eye twitched immediately. “What are you doing?” she demanded sharply.
Olivia, however, was not surprised. She had expected this—how could Tyler allow Naomi to be humiliated like that? A sense of relief washed over her as she quietly observed from the sidelines.
Tyler glanced at Ana coolly and asked, “Are you finished?”
“Do you think I’m causing trouble?” Ana shot back.
“You can’t judge her actions. After all, she’s not part of our family.”
Ana’s expression turned dark as she stared coldly at him.
Naomi’s tear-streaked face finally broke into a smile. She quickly wrapped her arms around Tyler, burying herself in his shoulders, looking fragile and pitiful. Anyone would think Ana was cruel for how she treated her.
Suddenly, Ana’s eyes sank with realization. She scoffed, sensing she had fallen into a trap this time, and stood silently.
Tyler carried Naomi and left the house. Darren and Hillary exchanged glances before following quietly after them.
Ben and the security guards remained silent, fully aware that Tyler was Naomi’s strongest support within the Harris family.
Ana had fought with Naomi for years but had never managed to win.
Ben exhaled quietly, almost as if he didn’t exist.
True to form, Ana erupted in fury moments later, rushing to a nearby table and sweeping everything onto the floor in a violent rage.
“How dare she deceive me?!” Ana screamed.
Olivia stood quietly to the side, trying to steady her breath.
Ana snapped out of her fury briefly but then resumed smashing objects, shards flying through the air. A few fragments grazed Olivia’s face, leaving small scratches, yet Olivia remained still with her eyes closed.
Ana pointed angrily at everyone in the living room. “Are you all mocking me? Does this amuse you?”
Ben and the security guards dared not speak.
The sound of shattering echoed through the house until Ana finally stopped after an indeterminate amount of time. She sneered, “Let’s see how long she can keep this up.”
Olivia, who had kept her eyes shut, finally opened them upon hearing another voice.
Keith had just returned from a summit, only to be greeted by the chaotic mess strewn across the floor.
He frowned deeply. “What’s going on here?” he demanded.
Everyone turned toward him, falling even more silent.
Ana sneered, “What am I doing? Of course, it was your beloved son who provoked me.”
Seeing her still furious, Keith regarded her with exasperation. “Control yourself. When you get upset, you make a mess in the house,” he said sharply before heading upstairs.
