Chapter 362
Tyler didn’t say more. He left the room with Linda following behind, carrying his bags. Olivia remained silent, the quiet settling heavily around her.
Linda glanced back once at the room before hurrying to catch up with him.
Tyler would be away on a business trip abroad for several days, leaving Olivia to handle things at home alone.
The Harris Group had recently partnered with the local embassy on a major infrastructure project. Since their work mainly involved government contracts—covering about 80% of national infrastructure—this overseas assignment was critical. Tyler’s presence was essential to negotiate details with the foreign officials.
That evening, after checking into his hotel, Tyler received a call from Naomi. She had heard about his trip and asked if everything was going smoothly.
Standing by the balcony, he looked out at a large palm tree swaying in the warm breeze. “Mm-hmm, I’m here. Everything’s going well.”
“That’s good to hear,” Naomi replied. “The weather’s perfect here.”
After a brief conversation, they ended the call.
The next morning, on his way to meet embassy officers, Linda received troubling news. She stared at her phone with a vacant expression.
Noticing her reaction, Tyler asked without looking up, “What is it?”
Linda replied, “Bad news, sir.”
Tyler glanced at her, then calmly extended his hand. She handed over her phone.
As he skimmed the screen, his eyes darkened with swirling emotions.
Photos appeared: Olivia standing close to a man in a corridor, bathed in soft light, seemingly sharing an intimate moment. Another showed the man gripping her wrist as they parted.

The man’s face wasn’t clear—just a blurry profile—but Olivia’s face was unmistakably in focus.
“It’s chaos over there, sir,” Linda reported quietly.
Though the images were unclear, Tyler recognized the man instantly. It was Claude.
Meanwhile, Olivia had been plagued by restless nightmares for days. She awoke feeling exhausted and, to her surprise, found no one by her bedside—Alisa wasn’t there to wake her.
Checking the time, she realized it was already 10 A.M.
After resting briefly on the bed, still dizzy, she finally got up to freshen herself.
As she reached the stairs, Alisa appeared with a hesitant look. “Ma’am, Ms. Ana is asking for you at the dining table.”
Olivia frowned, puzzled. Was Ana inviting her for breakfast? Hadn’t she already eaten and gone for her walk?
After a moment’s hesitation, Olivia headed downstairs.
Ana sat at the table, her eyes fixed on Olivia.
“Mom,” Olivia called softly.
